Muxton is part of the town of Telford, which lies in the Telford and Wrekin borough of Shropshire, England. The borough covers the town, its suburbs and surrounding villages, with Muxton as one of those localities. Telford is situated near the county’s eastern boundary and close to the River Severn. The notable hill called The Wrekin is part of the Shropshire Hills, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and lies nearby.
