Removing this stem will not visually impact the group. T4 Dead Scots Pine, cut dead stem to a height of 9m to reduce the chance of significant damage to property if/when it collapses. T5 Cypress, lightly trim crown back by 0.5m from No.27, (South) at 2-4m height to lessen impact on neighbouring property, reduce height by 1.5m to lessen wind loading if T7 is removed. T6 Douglas Fir, lift crown to 5m,and reduce tips at 5-6m height by 1.5m, to lessen impact on neighbouring property. T7 Pine, cut to ground and replace with suitable tree (T.B.D), tree has lost or had its main leader removed, the result is three main leaders starting at 8.1m and now at an overall height of 20m, I have inspected this union which appears sound but is now under extreme pressure from the weight of the three leaders, the tree twists under normal wind loading and has not yet been assessed under heavy wind loading, but in my opinion is liable to collapse under heavy loading. I have also considered reducing the height of this tree but due to the unusual broad shape of the crown I do not think a convincing or structurally stable shape could be produced. T8 Douglas Fir, tree stands at 18m height, I propose to reduce it by 8m to 10m overall height, the tree is leggy from 10m and would be suitably strong enough to take the extra pressure of wind loading that the removal of T7 would produce, it also has a broader crown at this level. T9 Ash at rear of property, reduce end weight on limb on S.W. side by 6m to side growth to reduce chance of breaking-out.
