REAR: THREE Beech trees (T1, T2, T3) HEIGHT REDUCTION Ht by 4m from 22m to 18m. REMOVAL of 3 crossover branches at the bottom of each tree by approx 3m from 13m to 10m. REASON: Grown too tall, have long over hanging branches and branches are growing into each other competing with each other for light and water. This is effecting the health of the trees and garden beneath.. The trees make the garden very dark during the summer months making growing plants and the lawn very difficult. One of the trees also overhangs Pagoda Gardens footpath & road. All 3 trees overhang our neighbouring propoerty and they have asked us to apply to do wires in these trees to reduce the effect on their garden too. Informative A: The sensitive management of the trees is greatly appreciated for landscape amenity, wildlife, wellbeing, and urban forest canopy for environmental benefits to mitigate the effects of climate change. Informative B: Wherever possible, please create habitat log piles in the garden from cut branches for wildlife and biodiversity.

REAR: ONE Prunus 'Pissardii' (T1)(ht.8m) CROWN REDUCE by 2m to previous prune points, CROWN THIN stem epicormics, CROWN LIFT to 2m above ground level. Remove deadwood. Reason: repeat routine maintenance to retain and allow more light into the garden area. REAR: THREE Beech (G1)(ht.14-16m) CROWN THIN by approx.20% the 2x beech furthest from the house, retain existing crown dimensions. Remove deadwood. Reason: to improve light to garden. Informative: the three beech (G1) are very significant to public realm amenity seen from Pagoda Gardens to the rear. They contribute to the treed character of this part of the Blackheath conservation area and the setting of the period houses. It is greatly appreciated that the trees are being retained for amenity, the urban tree canopy and ecosystem service benefits.
