Request to remove 8 (5 large and 3 small) conifers from the rear of the garden. We have had multiple instances where the wind has caused part of trees to fall into neighbouring gardens causing damage. Yesterday one full conifer was blown out of the ground into the neighbouring property damaging the boundary wall and the neighbours fruit trees (photographs provided). Similar events have happened in previous storms affecting the other neighbours property. This recent was due to storm Isha 21/1/24. The tree surgeon has attended to the fallen tree on the ground but has advised the other trees remain unsafe due to the weight of the trees at the top and has advised these trees be cut down urgently in the interest of safety. He has also pointed out parts of the tree that are diseased creating higher chances of the trees to fall again in windy weather (see photographs). We request permission to remove these conifers from the rear of the property. The trees are marked as XXXX on the plan.

Conifer - Fell. One conifer at rear of property affecting the boundary wall. The boundary wall has been affected and is at risk of falling over. Also the tree itself has partially fallen due to the storm in previous years (see photographs). Now only part of the conifer remains. Recent inspection by the tree surgeons advised that this tree is dangerous and is at imminent risk of falling in any further storms and potentially causing damage to the surrounding properties. The tree is a conifer. We would like to fell the remaining tree as soon as possible. The conifer is located at the rear of the property (see sketch map). We have recently had planning permission granted for removal of the adjacent conifer - which has now been removed. Unfortunately this conifer was missed off the original planning application hence the tree surgeons were unable to attend to this despite it posing an imminent safety risk in bad weather.
