Pulford is a village and former civil parish now incorporated into the parish of Poulton and Pulford, which falls under the unitary authority of Cheshire West and Chester and the ceremonial county of Cheshire, England. The settlement is situated on the B5445 road, to the south west of Chester and adjacent to the border with Wales. Historically, the civil parish of Pulford included the hamlet of Cuckoo's Nest. This parish was abolished on 1 April 2015 and merged with Poulton to form the new civil parish of Poulton and Pulford. The village retains a rural character, with its proximity to both Chester and the Welsh border offering a blend of countryside tranquility and access to nearby towns.
