To carefully reduce the height of a single grinko tree by 50% that is in the front garden of the property. This scale of reduction has been done more than once in the past and this reduction would be above the level of previously reductions. It has not been trimmed for some years and its height and proximity to the house reduces light into the lounge as well dominating the front garden. The proposed work would not be done until the tree is dormant in the late autumn or winter 2020/21 to ensure its re-growth and shape. The tree is not the subject of any tree preservation order. The work would be carried out by a tree surgeon.
