This would then be lined with a six inch clean stone base, to be completed with a 6 inch riding surface comprising of both sand and recycled carpet material. The riding arena would be enclosed by wooden base retaining boards and post and rail fencing to be approximately 1.8 metres high. The proposed structure would be for private personal use only, situated in the field to the rear of 1 High Common Cottages. The arena is required for both the riding and jumping of the horses in order to maintain fitness and training levels.
