We have had an issue with the trees marked 1, 3, 4 and 5 on our sketch. The reasons for the issues are shown below. 1 - This is a beech tree of some height. At 11.50pm on 27th August 2017 me and my wife were woken by a loud noise. Upon looking out of the bedroom window a main branch had snapped off, laying in excess of 10m across the back garden, narrowly missing the roof of the house, two gas cylinders and a table set worth ¿1,500. To add some context, it was a still, calm night and nothing was resting on the branch. 3 - Is an Oak Tree which is completely dead and decaying. Branches frequently fall off and this overhangs a neighbours garden to the rear of our property. This needs removing at the earliest opportunity. 4 - Unsure of type of tree but has a couple of large dead branches on this and work needs to be done to tidy this up. 5 - Is a Larch which has grown at an angle and we are unsure if this is safe or not
