We have an over mature Juglans regia English Walnut Tree which is in a dangerous state and may collapse at any time. The tree has been lying on the ground for more than 100 years and the trunk and main branches have all been hollow for very many years they have now rotted through to the bark which is falling off in large pieces. The tree is no longer in a stable condition because of the exceptional gales and heavy rain. Sadly we wish to remove the tree. Please advise course of action. We are self-isolating so the tree can be viewed by yourself at any time.
