    Outcome in report

Two Trees to be felled in the rear garden of 12 High Street Little Shelford (trees within a Conservation Area) - as discussed with and advised by Lisa Camps 1st Tree - An overgrown Fir Tree it was originally planted after it was used as a Christmas Tree. This tree was planted is approximately 8 metres away from the house. This tree is now almost twice the height of the dwelling house and has been noted to be swaying significantly in high winds. 2nd Tree - Is a Persian Ironwood that was planted very close to the house directly in front of the rear kitchen window. The tree cannot be seen from the front of the house or the Public Highway. The crown spread reaches within a metre of the house blocking light and any visibility from the Kitchen window (I am unable to see my children playing in the garden) and also the main bedroom window on the first floor. The tree is overgrown and has not been maintained. There are a significant number of mature trees in our garden and removal of these two trees identified above will enhance the others health and growth as well as our enjoyment of the garden. We have taken advice from a Landscaper Architect.
