Although I do not believe that the tree in question is subject to a preservation order, I am led to believe that it is in a conservation area. With this in mind, I would like to apply for work to be permitted to carry out a crown reduction/pollarding of the tree in orer to make it consistent with previous work done on surrounding trees. I am concerned about the height of the tree and the degree of overhang over the driveway of the neighbouring property, Villa Paradiso, in Higher Warberry Road. I would also like this tree to be reduced to a similar size to the surrounding trees, which can be seen in the attached photographs.
