The tree is ugly as it displays large areas of dead brown foliage and detracts from my efforts to develop a well stocked and attractive garden. Also neighbours cats have used it as a scratching post and the bark on the trunk looks ratty. 2. The roots of the tree are now on the surface and above my lawn in a number of places thus destroying the lawn where they appear defeating to a degree the lawn treatments from Green Thumb. 3.
