Speen, Newbury, RG20 8AA

Speen, Berkshire is a village and civil parish in England, part of West Berkshire. It is located roughly 2 miles (3 km) north‑west of the town of Newbury. The locality comprises clustered settlements, with Speen village itself contiguous with Newbury, and additional hamlets—Bagnor, Stockcross, Woodspeen and Marsh Benham—buffered from the town by the A34 road. The surrounding land is an approximately even mixture of woodland and agricultural fields, including hay meadows for livestock feed and pasture. Elevation varies across the area, with the Reading to Taunton railway line and the southern bank of the River Kennet forming the southern boundary, and both banks of the River Lambourn to the north. Benham Park, a listed landscape garden and house, lies in the south‑west of the area.
