Hailey is a village and civil parish in Oxfordshire, situated approximately two miles (three kilometres) north of Witney. The parish comprises three distinct neighbourhoods: Middletown, located on the main road between Witney and Charlbury; Poffley End, on the minor road to Ramsden; and Delly End on Whiting's Lane. The parish boundaries extend from the River Windrush in the south, almost reaching the village of Ramsden, to the hamlet of Wilcote in the north, and include the hamlet of New Yatt. According to the 2011 Census, Hailey’s population was 1,208. The area falls within the OX 29 postal district, placing it within the broader Oxfordshire region. The village’s rural character and proximity to Witney provide a blend of countryside living with access to nearby town amenities.
