Brill Tramway was a six‑mile (10 km) rail line in Buckinghamshire, England, operating from 1871 to 1935. Initially built by the 3rd Duke of Buckingham as a horse tram line to transport goods from his lands around Wotton House to the national rail network, the line was later extended to the village of Brill and converted to passenger use in early 1872. The tramway employed two locomotives but operated at an average speed of only 4 miles per hour (6 km/h). The line served the local community for several decades before its closure in 1935.
