Enton, Godalming, GU8 5AS

Enton is a locality within the civil parish of Godalming, a market town in southwest Surrey, England. The parish covers 3.74 square miles (9.7 km²) and includes settlements such as Farncombe, Binscombe and Aaron's Hill. The area lies on the strata of the Lower Greensand Group, and Bargate stone was quarried locally until the Second World War. Godalming sits at the confluence of the Rivers Wey and Ock, and the parish is part of the Borough of Waverley. The town is approximately 30 miles (49 km) southwest of central London, placing it within commuting distance of the capital while retaining a rural character.
