    Outcome in report

We are seeking approval to have a number of limbs removed on a large beech tree (B1). This course of action was recommended by a local arborist. The tree is our neighbours (no 6, Osborne Road) and is excessively shading the bottom half of our garden. The tree also drops beech nuts which causes us a regular knightmare to clean up. Each year we collect 3 wheelie bins worth of nuts. As a result or lower lawn is suffering from sunlight deprivation and poor growth. Underground the soild is very dry too. We have to water the lawn constantly to provide it with enough hydration. As we are on a wter meter our spring-summer bills rocket. We have a vegetable patch which produces poor yield so have had to abandon it. If the whole crowns of the two Beech trees are to be pruned it would be acceptable to undertake a crown reduction of up to 1/3rd maximum. Tree adj. to No 8 - remove lowest branch over garden of No 8. Tree on the right side: Remove two low limbs on the right side. Crown thin canopies by up to a maximum of 20% Timber up to 75mm diameter.
