Reduce the upper southern quarter of the crown by 1.5m to leave a 3.5m radial crown spread away from neighbouring property; see photo 2. Addition/amendment to works specification: Due to limited lateral growth points the pruning works (shown in blue) will aim to simultaneously thin and reduce the branch extremities by removing selected small branches of the peripheral crown to reduce loading on branch unions without significantly reducing the overall length of all branches. This should enable retention of sufficient foliar mass to sustain the trees physiological health. This will also help maintain the trees overall shape.

(Reduction at request of client, not recommended in report but feasible considering the species tolerance to pruning.) T4 - Sessile Oak - Fell as in decline and will become an unacceptable risk in time. Replace with Sessile Oak standard, as close to stump as possible.
