This will prevent water seepage into the chimney and attic space, and provide a more balanced elevation to the house. The existing chimney, constructed of coursed random rubble masonry does not match the other two chimneys to the house which are in brickwork. 2. Install new white pvcu fascia board to pine end of house to match existing. 3. Undertake localised repairs to section of roof adjacent to redundant chimney over a length of approx. 3.5m up to the next chimney, to include replacement of roof slates and roofing felt where necessary. 4. Remove existing asbestos cement sheet roof with polycarbonate sheet skylights to small outbuilding adjacent to house and replace with natural slate. 5. Undertake repairs to storm damaged roof to detached garage, replacing existing natural slate with profiled steel sheet in Anthracite. Reclaimed slates from garage to be used in Items 1., 3. and 4.
