High Green is a locality within the city of Sheffield, South Yorkshire, England. Sheffield is situated 29 miles (47 km) south of Leeds and 32 miles (51 km) east of Manchester, and it is the administrative centre of the City of Sheffield. The city is historically part of the West Riding of Yorkshire and is the largest settlement in South Yorkshire and the third largest of Northern England. Porter Brook, the Rivelin and the Sheaf flow through the area, and sixty‑one per cent of Sheffield’s entire area is green space, with a third of the city lying within the Peak District. The S35 postal district places High Green in a well‑connected part of the city, offering residents access to the city’s green spaces and its role as a regional hub.
