The extension is planned to be 2m to the west and 2.15m to the north.(external measurements) It will be single storey with the roof not as high as the existing utility room roof in order to fit in best with existing building. A new window is planned at the end of the new space, and the door will be turned 90 degrees to face west so that it faces the back gate to the property. The long wall of the extension will be covered in black boards to match the existing utility room with a brick finish end to match the Breakfast room.
