Planning history

The current gaps in the hedgerows for agricultural access into the fields are narrow and present difficulty with modern agricultural machinery in accessing the fields. We propose widening the existing gaps at 4 places to provide an access gap of 40 foot. We propose creating a new opening at 1 place at a width of 40 foot. All hedgerows are under 30 years old. All fields are tenanted under a Farm Business Tenancy with approval from the landlord to take out the hedgerows. This is with the exception of field BP3 which is owned and occupied by Mr Stephenson. To compensate for the hedgerows being taken out we plan to plant a new row of hedgerow at BP6 as shown on the attached plan which equates to 186 metres, plus infilling on the adjacent hedgerow.
