-T1 Scots pine - Fell. Situated in the side hedgerow at the front of the property, this Scots pine has had the top section broken out, possibly due to wind damage. This has left a large split which extends down the top of the main stem, into a union which supports the entirety of the trees canopy. As the first available growth point from this union is quite far out, I feel that reducing the tree back to these points would not be sufficient in making the tree safe, and would also leave it with poor form. The tree stands next to a healthy Yew and protrudes from a stand of nature Portuguese laurel which should thrive in it's absence.
