Fell two Planes because of excessive shading and encroachment on neighbours roof. The two Planes dominate 5 gardens and place most of them in shade most of the time. Neighbours have complained about debris falling in their gardens and worry about damage to their property. Mr Purcell is concerned that at the old pollard point debris has collected and there seems to be enough decay at that point for elder and other plants to grow in it (see pictures). Water constantly gathers at those points and both the applicant and neighbours are concerned that one day the large and weighty boughs will start to tear at those points, and they are very easily in reach of 5 houses. One tree is already growing over a neighbours roof. Mr Purcell wishes to remove the trees completely but is happy to plant something new in their place.
