Canford Magna, Wimborne, BH21 3AF

Canford Magna is a village in Dorset, England, within the Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole district. The village lies just south of the River Stour and is positioned between the towns of Wimborne Minster and Poole. It was significantly developed by the Guest family of Canford Manor, and its architecture includes a mixture of thatch and brick buildings, many of which now serve as residences for teaching staff. The western edge of the village merges with the residential suburb of Merley and the village community of Oakley. The locality is identified by the postal district BH 21 and is part of the ceremonial county of Dorset.
