leylandii is approximately 40' high and situated about 10' away from the back of my house and approximately 6 metres from the wall of my garage. Then I do not really want to remove the tree however I am concerned that it is damaging my property and it is also blocking a lot of light. I would wish to replace the tree with a smaller more ornamental tree. I am happy to be guided by the Planning officer as to what would be an appropriate tree to replace this with.
