Sycamore to front of property - fell - because of proximity to house and height within such a small garden; interference with neighbouring telephone lines; low amenity value. We are gradually trying to create a wildlife friendly garden (creating second pond, removing artificial grass etc) and want to plant 1 or 2 native dwarf apple trees and climbing plants such as lonicera and clematis for birds to nest in. Whilst I would rather not take down any tree the sycamore is quite a poor specimen and is overbearing in such a small garden. The exact location of the replacement apple tree(s) is not yet known. Sycamore to side of property - reduce in height - we were given permission to fell this sycamore over 2 years ago but did not remove it. We reduced the height and wish to reduce it again.
