Fir tree - fell because wider access is required on driveway for lorry deliveries for extension already granted permission. Currently tree overhangs driveway and lorries need to drive over next door neighbour lawn and also we have a sewage manhole cover on our lawn which comes into play if lorries avoid the overhanging branches. Also as part of landscaping the front we plan to use sleepers (vertically installed) which could disrupt the roots and lead to tree damage. We propose to replace with another fir in the same place once building work is completed as part of the landscaping at the front of the house.
