This property is located in Calder Vale, a village in the PR 3 postal district of Preston, within the Forest of Bowland area of Lancashire.
Calder Vale is an English village, located on the edge of the Forest of Bowland in Lancashire. It lies on the River Calder in a deep valley with only a small settlement of houses and farms. The Calder Valley line is a railway route in Northern England between the cities of Leeds and Manchester as well as the seaside resort of Blackpool. It is the slower of the two main rail routes between Leeds and Manchester, and the northernmost of the three main trans-Pennine routes. The village’s rural character is defined by its valley setting and proximity to woodland, making it a quiet place within the broader Lancashire area. The railway line provides a transport link to larger urban centres, while the surrounding forest offers natural scenery and outdoor opportunities for residents.
