Carn Grey is situated in the St. Austell postal district in mid‑Cornwall, England. The area lies near the village of Treverbyn, which is described as a village in mid‑Cornwall, north of St Austell. The parish of Treverbyn includes the villages of Treverbyn, Carclaze, Stenalees and Penwithick. St Austell Bay is a bay on the south coast of Cornwall, bounded to the east by Gribbin Head and to the west by Black Head.
