Problematic trees ... we are requesting to remove a beech tree which is close to the side elevation which is on the driveway behind the double gates. Year after year it is constantly damaging the thatch roof, making it rot ... with its leaves and debris as well as constant aphid droppings (like sap) which falls all around the location / property because 90% of the trees limbs are all facing the thatch roof. A few months ago, Master Thatcher -N A Sheills carried out yet another repair and this has cost us over ????1000 in the last few years. Having also had 3 different tree surgeons view the trees,(within the last 12 months) each have stated that ideally it should be removed, not only for the reasons above but also the fact that it is too close to 2 neighbouring lime trees. The three trees are all fighting for the same 'light' and cause excessive shading to the whole side of the property too. We would also like to remove all deadwood please to the lime tree on the right hand side behind the rear gate, and remove all deadwood lower branches from the lime tree which is only a couple of meters from the property,(to the left as you stand at the rear gate.
