Eaglestone West, Milton Keynes, MK6 5LS

Eaglestone West is a neighbourhood situated in the city of Milton Keynes, a borough in Buckinghamshire, England. The city was created in 1974 and named after its main settlement, which had been designated as a new town seven years earlier in 1967. The borough is the northernmost district of the South East England Region and abuts Bedfordshire, Northamptonshire and the remainder of Buckinghamshire. In 2022, the borough was awarded city status. It is administered by Milton Keynes City Council, which has been a unitary authority since 1997. Milton Keynes University Hospital is located in the Eaglestone neighbourhood; it opened in 1984 and is managed by Milton Keynes University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. The hospital’s presence underscores the area’s role as a key health and employment hub within the city.
