Ingrave is a village and former civil parish, now part of the parish of Herongate and Ingrave, in the Brentwood district in Essex, England. It lies on and around the A128 road, approximately 2 miles (3.2 km) southeast of Brentwood town. The adjoining village of Herongate is nearby. In 1931 the parish had a population of 692, and on 1 January 1937 it was merged with Brentwood. The locality offers a quiet, rural setting within easy reach of the larger town’s amenities.
