Ewloe, Deeside, CH5 3UR

Ewloe is a village situated within the Deeside area of Flintshire, on the border of Wales and England. It lies near the canalised stretch of the River Dee, which flows from Chester into the Dee Estuary. The village hosts the St David's Hotel, part of the Village Hotels chain, located just off the A55 road network. Deeside is a predominantly industrial conurbation that includes towns and villages such as Connah's Quay, Shotton, Queensferry, Aston, Garden City, Sealand, Broughton, Bretton, Hawarden, Mancot, Pentre, Saltney and Sandycroft. The population of Deeside is around 50,000, with a plurality of 17,500 residents in Connah's Quay.
