Farndon, Cheshire, is a village and civil parish in the unitary authority of Cheshire West and Chester and the ceremonial county of Cheshire, England. It is on the outskirts of the larger town of Crewe. The settlement, formerly known as Crewe-by-Farndon, was a former civil parish and township within Farndon. In 2001 the parish had a population of 45. In 1866 Crewe became a separate civil parish, and on 1 April 2015 the parish was abolished and merged with Farndon. The locality is part of the CH 3 postal district, reflecting its administrative and postal context within Cheshire.
