Edenhall is a clustered village and former civil parish, now part of the parish of Langwathby in the Westmorland and Furness district of Cumbria, England. The village lies 800 metres to the north of the parish centre and features St Cuthbert's Church as a notable local landmark. The name Edenhall originates from Eden Hall house, the former seat of the Musgrave family of Hartley Castle, Cumberland, many of whom served as members of the House of Commons. In 1931 the civil parish had a population of 216, and on 1 April 1934 the parish was merged into Langwathby. The setting is typical of rural Cumbria, with a close‑knit community and historic roots reflected in its architecture and place‑name history.
