This property is located in Mangotsfield, a civil parish that became part of the Bristol suburban area, within the BS 16 postal district.
Mangotsfield is a civil parish that developed into a suburb of Bristol in the early 20th century, with Downend and Staple Hill growing alongside it. The area was served by Mangotsfield railway station, opened in 1845 on the Midland Railway route between Bristol and Birmingham. The station was resited in 1869 to become a junction with six platforms, but passenger use remained low. It closed in 1966, and the line was shut in 1969. The former railway has since been converted into a cycle path, and the station walls and platforms remain as a resting point on the route. The locality falls within the BS 16 postal district of Bristol.
