Buckie is a burgh town situated on the Moray Firth coast of Scotland. Historically part of Banffshire, it was the largest town in the county until the administrative area was abolished in 1975. Today it remains the third largest settlement in the Moray council area, following Elgin and Forres. The town is almost equidistant from Banff to the east and Elgin to the west, each about 17 miles away, while Keith lies roughly 12 miles to the south by road.
