Raemoir, Banchory, AB31 4DQ

Raemoir House is a Category B listed Georgian mansion situated in the parish of Banchory, Aberdeenshire, Scotland. Its origins trace back to the Ha'Hoose, built in 1715 during the Georgian Era, and it has remained a private residence until 1943, when it was converted into a hotel. Over the centuries the house has been renovated several times, with the prominent architect John Smith contributing to its present appearance. In 2010, Neil and Julie Rae acquired the property and operated it as a hotel and events venue for a number of years. Since 2017, Raemoir House has been an exclusive use venue for weddings, events and house parties. The locality of Raemoir, within the AB 31 postal district, is therefore associated with a historic building that offers a distinctive heritage atmosphere in a rural setting.
