At Minster Survey, we believe your potential new home deserves more than a quick walk-through. While many firms push surveyors to complete multiple inspections in a single day, we’ve built our business on a different philosophy: one day, one property, one client.

By limiting our workload, we ensure that we never have to rush. We spend between four and six hours on-site, meticulously checking every accessible nook and cranny. This undivided attention allows us to provide the level of detail and care that a life-changing investment deserves.

Technical Precision Rooted in Experience

Our Lead Surveyor, Mike Steele, brings a unique perspective to every inspection. As a former soldier with the Royal Electrical & Mechanical Engineers (REME), Mike has a "boots-on-the-ground" technical mindset.

He holds a Master’s Degree in Surveying from Northumbria University and is a graduate of the SAVA School of Surveying. This blend of high-level academic qualification and practical, military-grade discipline means we are exceptionally well-equipped to investigate complex property defects that others might miss.

What Sets Our Reporting Apart

We know that a survey report is only useful if you actually understand it. We aim to deliver your completed report within five working days, but we don't stop there.

• High-Level Inspections: We use pole-cameras to get close-up shots of roof coverings and high-level masonry (weather permitting).
• Visual Clarity: Our reports are packed with photographs and diagrams to illustrate exactly what we’ve found.
• The Human Element: Every survey includes a free 30-minute follow-up call. Once you’ve read the report, we’ll sit down (virtually) to answer your questions and discuss any concerns in plain English.
