Our team, led by Managing Director Richard Bray, specialises in s106 Financial Viability Assessments (FVAs). We have a reputation for successfully negotiating affordable housing obligations and s106 costs to ensure development remains achievable.
- Vacant Building Credit: We recently advised a client in Kelvedon, Essex, reducing affordable housing requirements from 10 units to 6 by successfully claiming Vacant Building Credit.
- Zero-Affordable Housing Success: In Rettendon, we secured planning approval for a 91-unit site with zero affordable housing by demonstrating the impact of high existing use values and contamination.
- Expert Determination: When agreement cannot be reached with council assessors, we have the expertise to proceed with RICS Expert Determination, as we did for a former builders' merchants in Cheam to avoid costly appeals.
