Led by Joel MacDonald MRICS

Our director, Joel MacDonald, is a Chartered Building Surveyor with a career spanning over a quarter of a century across both the public and private sectors. Having held key roles in local authorities and social housing before establishing JMD in 2013, Joel brings a strategic, high-level perspective to every instruction.

Supporting our technical expertise is Vicki Wright-MacDonald, our Head of Operations. Vicki ensures that every project runs seamlessly behind the scenes, from initial client communication to the final delivery of documentation. This collaborative approach allows us to deliver a level of precision and care that larger firms often struggle to match.

• Schedules of Condition: We provide detailed documentation to prevent future repair disputes, such as our recent comprehensive survey for a new office tenant.
• Licences to Alter: We guide clients through the technicalities of property modifications, including ongoing work for Portsmouth City Council reviewing tenant alterations.
