With roots dating back to 1973, we provide a dedicated land agency and surveying service across the North East. Whether you are selling a farm, letting a cottage, or navigating complex land rights, our RICS-regulated team offers the local insight and professional depth you need.

Rooted in the North East Since 1973

We are a firm of Rural Chartered Surveyors and Estate Agents with a deep-seated history in the North East of England. Originally established by Harry Vickers over 50 years ago, our business has grown through strategic mergers—including Broadley and Coulson—and our acquisition by the Darlington Farmers Auction Mart.

Today, led by Managing Director Adam Barrass BSc (Hons) MRICS FAAV, we operate from our key hubs in Tow Law and Darlington. We aren't just property agents; we are specialist advisors dedicated to the success of farmers, estates, and landowners from North Yorkshire right up to the Scottish Borders.

Comprehensive Support for the Rural Community

Our team understands that rural property is rarely just about bricks and mortar. It’s about heritage, livelihoods, and complex legislation. We provide a truly multi-disciplinary service that covers everything from the sale of a family home to the intricate management of mines and minerals.

"We pride ourselves on being more than just surveyors; we are trusted partners to the region's agricultural and land-owning community."

Why Landowners and Homeowners Trust Us

We believe our strength lies in our credentials and our local presence. We don't just work in these areas; we live here and understand the local market dynamics intimately.
