The parish covers the small village of Leigh itself, the larger village of Leigh Sinton in the south on the A4103 – the main road linking Worcester and Hereford – and surrounding rural areas including hamlets such as Brockamin and Smith End Green. At the 2021 census the parish had a population of 1,589. Leigh shares a grouped parish council with the neighbouring parish of Bransford. The village is 4 miles (6 km) west of Worcester and 5 miles (8 km) north of Malvern, placing it within easy reach of larger towns while maintaining a rural character.
