Planning history
- Dec 2019Tree WorksTreesIn report
Ash - pollard to previous levels. Proximity of the tree to applicant's and neighbouring property means the canopy is dangerously close to property, blocks a lot of light to the two properties. The tree is now incredibly tall, and branches are now unwieldy, so much so that it is of great concern during high winds that it may cause damage and/or injury. Tree surgeon has advised that the tree has previously been pollard'd and that the size and proximity of the tree to the properties warrants such reduction. Our neighbours have asked us to make this application as they are growing increasingly concerned about the damage the tree could cause. We are equally concerned and would like to follow the tree surgeon's advice.
