Horsehay, Telford, TF4 3UF

Horsehay is a small community situated within the Telford area of Shropshire, England. It lies near the River Severn and is in proximity to the historic Ironbridge Gorge, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The wider Telford and Wrekin borough covers the town, its suburbs and surrounding villages, and the town of Telford itself is the main administrative centre for the council. The notable hill called The Wrekin is part of the Shropshire Hills, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and the town is close to the county’s eastern boundary. The area around the Ironbridge Gorge was developed during the Industrial Revolution on the Shropshire Coalfield and is internationally recognised as “The Birthplace of Industry.”
