Llanbadarn Fawr is a village and community in Ceredigion, Wales. It lies on the outskirts of Aberystwyth, next to Penparcau and Southgate, forming the eastern part of the continually built‑up area of Aberystwyth. The community is represented by two electoral wards, Padarn and Sulien, each electing a Ceredigion County Councillor and several Llanbadarn Fawr Community Councillors. According to the 2001 census the population was 2,899, increasing to 3,380 in 2011.
