Broxhill, Fordingbridge, SP6 3DX

Broxhill is a hamlet in Dorset, England, situated within the civil parish of Alderholt. It is part of a trio of adjoining hamlets—Bull Hill, Daggons and Broxhill—that are noted for planted woodland and tree cultivation south of Cranborne Chase and West Wiltshire Downs AONB. The nearest town is Fordingbridge, about 3 miles (4.8 km) east‑north‑east of the hamlet. The three places have indistinct borders, as is normal for hamlets, and some of Bull Hill lies in the parishes of Damerham in a north‑west projection of Hampshire. Broxhill’s setting is rural, with a landscape dominated by woodland and agricultural activity, and it shares its character and surroundings with the neighbouring hamlets and the broader Dorset countryside.
