Yew - crown lift to achieve up to 2.5m clearance over the ground; prune the crown on the eastern sector, which is opposite the corner point of the conservatory, to reduce crown extent by up to 0.5m. Lime - crown clean (removal of dead, defective branches, stubs) and either option a) crown thin by up to 20% the regrowth from the previous reduction points or option b) crown reduce back to the points of previous reduction leaving where possible a proportion of the smaller live twigs and branches to prevent potential dysfunction of the parent branches or stem; epicormics to be removed once a year over the next 2 years.
