I intend to remove a Fir tree which has been allowed by a previous property owner to become oversized in an unsafe position on a steep slope where there is the danger of causing damage to neighbouring property. The tree - probably originally a hedging plant - has damaged a retaining structure in a steep position, which we assume will continue to worsen. The tree is not in keeping with surrounding trees (Sycamore) and we wish to prevent further damage or danger to property or people.
